I have 4 friends and my sister in law due to have a baby within a month of me. I really want to make them all something without going to too much trouble. I ended up deciding to make a little gift set for each. Each set has a wrap - made of cotton lined with flannelette; a bib and a burp cloth.
I got the fabric from cia’s palette as they have such an excellent range. Each set only needs 1 1/4 yards and found it really quite affordable for the quality of the fabric. These two sets are made from Heather Ross ’s Lightning bugs and Other Mysteries range and are gifts for friends I work with. I also made a matching ’steve’ cat from Denyse Schmidt Quilts and ’honey’ bear from Funky Friends Factory as a little something extra.
