One of the attractions to crochet was the ability to easily make 3D objects. First I made an orange Octopode which I found through ravelry which linked to the tutorial on craftster. It was really easy and I had a great time making it. I used some nundle woolen mill yarn from my stash, so had to be a little bit creative with the colours. My boy loves it.

and for this week – This is what scares me …

….. deep open water.
I am ok with this

and even this

but deep dark water I am not a fan of. I am ok in a boat, but the idea of being in the water freaks me out.

Yeah me too! I like to be able to see and touch the bottom!!
I love your, what did you call it? An octopode? That is very cool! And look at your hamburger over there on the right!!
Busy girl!!
So…. I am guessing you haven’t seen that movie, Open Water? Might be best to stay away from that in the DVD store.
Oh and I just saw that you won another pattern from Melly and Me!!! Congratulations!!!! You are so lucky!!
I like to “know” where the bottom is.
I so agree about the open water thing – there must be a name such as bottomless-chasmphobia for it – I don’t even like being on boats – and no, I did not watch ‘Open Water’ (it was on tv recently) ’cause I knew exactly what it was about. Love the chewy toy!
Urr, that picture of the sea made my heart seize up for a second. I think I’m with you there.
