This project has been a slow starter. I got the pattern well over a year ago and I bought all of the supplies about 6 months after that. It has been sitting in my project box peacefully waiting to be worked on. About 6 weeks ago I cut out all of the pieces. This weekend, I started sewing.
So far I have made the two front panels. I am using different basic greens and trying to incorporate as much of a 1/2 yard of my favourite echino fabric. I have decided to only have a main pocket on one side to show off the fabric pattern.
The reason I’ve stopped …. I ran out of f**king green cotton!!!
he he he – guess why I was at Lincraft at 5.00pm yesterday? Buying f**king blue cotton! I’ll have a bag finished today hopefully too. Love your fabric choice – and looking forward to your review of this pattern!
