So here I am … I’m back, but I never really went away. I have been keeping up with all of my favorite blogs and have been hanging out a little more on ravelry (as craftjunk). I have rediscovered my love for whip up and my to do list has grown immensely. I have had a few good Etsy finds and I have given my paypal account a little bit of a work out.
I survived the move and we have unpacked and settled in to our new house. I have cleaned and purged. I have either thrown or donated lots of stuff over the last couple of weeks and I feel “lighter”.
The kids love the new house and the pool will be great in summer. Their favourite feature is the doggy door.
My previous crafty space was a section of the garage. Our new house has no garage and there is not a lot of spare space. I really dislike having my machine stored away as I am the type of person that if it is not out and set up then I tend not to be bothered.
So when we fitted out our small study we incorporated both of our macs on one desk and I got a sewing table on the other side of the room.
The room is quite small, about 2m x 3m and I pretty much take up 3/4 of it and all of the storage space with my stuff. I mean how much room does hubby really need with a laptop.
We took the doors off the wardrobe to give us a little more room and will eventually find something to replace them. It is still not particularly organised but it is workable.
I have still been sewing and am trying really hard to focus on one project at a time. Mind you I do bend the rules a little and have one sewing project, one crochet project and one TV project all going at once. I have been using a lot of my stash and even some of my favourites.
I have missed blogging, I missed being part of the community and doing my occasional show and tell. I will show you what I have been up to in my next couple of posts. I just thought that I would take this opportunity to come back and say Hi, I have missed you.

So glad to see you back! I have been wondering where you were but luckily noticed that you were still around via ravelry! I’m looking forward to reading your blog entries once again.
Welcome back! I have missed you!
So excited to see you sewing IN THE HOUSE!!!!!!!
Glad to see you have survived a move. I do recall hearing of children who loved those pet doors.
Purging the home is a good thing…I plan to do some while dh is away this week.
