We are back from our second little road trip and it is lovely to be home. We had a great time and the kids were very tolerant with the long drive. Because Hubby stayed at home and I took 2 days to do the Brisbane to Sydney drive. We stayed at Port Macquarie (Beachcomber resort – highly recommended) on the way down and Coffs Harbour on the way back.
I went to Sydney to stay with Sheridan and spend some time with her and my old mothers group. This group of lovely ladies was thrown together by our local council when the kids were about 12 weeks old. It was great to go back to Sydney and still feel like part of the group after leaving 18 months ago. It was also heart warming to see that the 4 other girls still see each other a few times a week and are very close friends. This mothers group was how I met Sheridan, as Henry and my little girl were born on the same day. I feel so lucky that these women are a part of my life, even though we live 1000km apart.
I would love to show you photos of my lovely trip but unfortunately I lost my camera recharger in Hervey Bay.
While in Sydney I also had the opportunity to meet a few other bloggers at fox studios. We had a lovely chat and it was great to meet sadieandlance and tuttifuiti. I was lucky enough to be the recipient of some lovely buttons from her recent button haul.
I had a great time away but it is nice to be home. I have another week before returning to work and have a HUGE project list.

LOL! I didn’t take any photos either! Oops! I think we were having too much fun! It was so great to have you visit. Thank you so much for driving so far just to come and hang out with us. Come again anytime!
