I finished Jack and Jill in time for Christmas. Unfortunately they were not a hit. Not surprising though, Christmas morning is quite overwhelming for little kids. And there were a lot better toys to play with, I know – I bought most of them.
I am not completely upset. One day they might be appreciated and loved. I will just have to wait patiently until then.
Jill face down next to a case of Smirnoff is not a good site….poor Jill! I knit my daughter a doll for her Birthday last year and it lays under a pile of stuffed animals in her room. I am tempted to steal her and put her away for myself.
I’m sure they will be appreciated for many years to come. My rag doll is about to turn 41 and she is still in my bedroom!
