week 5 is done!

Week 5 was exciting.  Week 5 was the first week that I could start the exercise program.

This week :

on Monday – I went to swimming squad and stair running

on Wednesday, Thursday and Super Saturday – I did the outdoor circuit

and on Friday the kids and I did a Yoda DVD.

I ate well and followed the plan.  Instead of having a treat meal we took the kids out for ice cream after dinner last night.

It has been a good week.  On weigh in Wednesday I was the same – no gain no loss.

A big milestone for me this week was not drinking coke.  On Saturday and Sunday I just didn’t have one.  I normally have a coke a day.  It is time for me to get it into my head that this drink is a sometimes food – not an everyday food.

Week 6 is off to a good start with an early morning run.  Hopefully the scales will be kind to me on Wednesday.

  1. I had never thought of basing exercise on a Star Wars DVD. Well there you go.
    Well done on going coke-less! I had forgotten about your addiction, just assuming probably that the skinny you had given it up in the previous round. Are you having withdrawal symptoms yet?
