Lucky me is on holidays (for another 4 days).  We went to Alexandra Headlands for a week, which is just over an hours drive. It was nice to get away to the beach and we enjoyed some sunny days.

I feel like I have been making this little quilt forever.

I had the top finished early september. But I couldn’t figure out what binding to use and hesitated basting it.
I ended up going with a scappy border and I basted it using a basting spray. That worked a dream and highly recommend it. [...]

My Birthday Haul

Packages, parcels and envelopes were arriving daily. Most of my birthday shopping spree finally showed up on my door step.
